Traditional Culture Clubs
As Chinese culture is gaining popularity,
traditional culture clubs are also favoured by
foreign students.
The Chinese culture club is a club for
students who are interested in Chinese culture.
The club members take part in all kinds of
fun activities, such as learning basic Chinese
greetings, holding culture workshops, making
dumplings and mooncakes, doing paper cutting,
making Chinese knots, writing Chinese words
with a brush, and others. Moreover, many clubs
will organise events to celebrate traditional
Chinese festivals such as the Spring Festival, the
Mid-autumn Day, and the Dragon-boat Festival.
They encourage members to learn more about
traditional Chinese culture in areas of clothing,
music, food, literature (文学), and so on.
